Stephen Sin, BA (Kin), MscPT

Stephen grew up in Toronto, Ontario and spent most of his childhood playing tennis, volleyball, and basketball. As a young competitive athlete, Stephen experienced his own struggles with injury and rehabilitation. This personal experience in combination with his passion for helping others led him to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

Stephen completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in London, UK and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Western University. While studying at Western, Stephen gained experience as a student athletic trainer working with former NBA and Division 1 NCAA basketball players on the London Lightning Basketball Club. During his time in the UK, Stephen further developed his clinical skills working in London’s top teaching hospitals specializing in trauma and orthopaedics. He enjoys treating a wide range of clients – whether it be a post-operative patient, a weekend warrior or an elite athlete.

Stephen believes in a holistic treatment approach and uses manual therapy, acupuncture, and exercise prescription to help his clients reach their personal goals. He integrates the latest evidence into his practice and has a passion for continuing education. Stephen has keen interest in pursuing additional certifications in manual therapy, dry needling, and vestibular/concussion therapy.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Stephen on a basketball court, taking photos in downtown Toronto, or cheering on the Leafs and Raptors.
