Dr. Roberta Da Re, DC
Dr. Roberta Da Re has extensive experience successfully treating a wide variety of patients and enjoys challenging cases. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, with Clinic Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 1996. That standard for excellence followed her to achieve comprehensive training in many areas including rehabilitation, exercise therapy as well as obtaining a certificate of Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.
Dr. Da Re has received several awards including the Chiropractic Foundation for Spinal Research Award for her work on the physical rehabilitation of low back pain. She also regularly acts as an examiner for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board's licensing examinations.
Roberta listens attentively, approaching each patient thoughtfully and with a professional manner. She conducts detailed assessments and uses current, evidence-based, customized treatments. These may include gentle joint manipulation, a variety of soft tissue techniques, athletic taping, acupuncture, exercise, postural, and ergonomic advice to help patients achieve their goals as quickly as possible. She is often asked to collaborate in the care of patients with challenging musculoskeletal issues of the hand and upper limb including post-surgical cases.
Dr. Da Re practiced for 8 years in the Italian Alps working closely with competitive skiers and snowboarders. She also has extensive training in the analysis of running form. Using video footage, she performs detailed evaluations, allowing her to target her treatments towards improving performance and resolving running related sources of pain.
When not treating patients she remains very active in a wide variety of sports including swimming, cycling, snowboarding, rock climbing and yoga which gives her a unique perspective on the treatment of sports injuries.
